Single homeless people. Priority given to those with a Southend on Sea connection.

No automatic exclusions. Applications considered on a case by case basis.

Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.
Drop in to day centre Mon-Fri before 2pm. May require proof of identity. Initial assessment. Admission forms completed by staff on arrival.
Operate waiting list.
Staffing and support ^ back to top
Staff provide support Mon-Fri 9am-9pm and Sun 9am-5pm, night security cover 9pm-9am and Sat-Sun 5pm-9am.
Substance misuse workers on staff team. Onsite GP/nurse consultation service at day centre. Links to other services.
Access to move-on
HARP Day Service provides advice and support for residents in identifying and securing move-on options. Refer to local floating support services for follow up support.

£1.50 per night required from residents receiving benefits.

House rules and tenure
No alcohol, smoking or weapons allowed on the premises. Written house rules.
Must be in by 11.30pm.

The initial admission is for 7 nights but this can be extended if necessary. The project was set up as a complementary service to the HARP Day Service which provides advice, information, health care and referrals to other services. The Night Service is approximately 1 mile from the Day Service.
