Target group

Single homeless men over 25 with housing-related support needs. Local connection to Hertfordshire taken into consideration.

Will not accept

Schedule 1 offenders including arsonists, sex offenders and people with a recent conviction for violence.

Referral agencies

Accept referrals from any agency. Accept referrals from prison if can interview face to face and release date is within 3 months.

Referral procedure

Agency referrals only. Phone or email for referral form and disclosure of information consent form, to be completed by referring agency and applicant.

Staffing and support ^ back to top

Support services

24 hour staffing, waking night cover. Linkwork system with regular meetings. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed as required. Staff help residents develop independent living skills. Close links with other agencies including CRI, CMHT, probation, St Albans District Council and Oaklands College.

Health services

On-site sessions can be arranged with CRI specialists.

Access to move-on

Staff provide advice on move-on options and help with applications.
