Telephone helpline operating 24 hours a day offering emotional support for anyone in crisis. Offers a listening and befriending service to people who are isolated, feel in despair or who are suicidal. Open daily for drop-in visits. The national local rate Samaritans number (08457 90 90 90) can also put callers through without delay to their nearest unengaged branch. Email support jo@samaritans.org
